Compensation: Salary range is $73,000 to $87,000 annually, DOE, plus comprehensive benefit package: Health Insurance, Dental, PTO, Sick, Retirement 403 (b), 12 Holidays, and other incentives employment type: Full-time/Exempt/40 hours non-profit organization.

ABOUT THE POSITION: Oversees the operation of the services and administrative functions of the organization, supervises all program managerial staff, provides support and assistance to the Executive Director. Adheres to and implements all safety protocols during the pandemic. Some remote work will be considered, however most work will be completed on site due to management of team members. Must be able to use diplomacy, discretion, preserve confidentiality and adhere to a team philosophy.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Executive Director (Acts as Executive Director in his/her absence)
SUPERVISES: Administrative Lead, Billing Specialist, Program Manager
JOB SUMMARY: Ensures that the administrative duties and staff policies and procedures are carried out and operates programs within budgetary guidelines. Assures compliance with all federal, state, and local licensing requirements and is responsible for maintaining partnership contracts. Prepares reports by researching and compiling information and analyzes statistical information in relation to the Center’s Mission. Responsible for hiring, terminating, and discipline of staff. Oversees employee benefits and adheres to a team philosophy with integrity and maintains a trusting, inclusive culture to promote a harmonious work environment.
All policies and procedures of the Center, applicable laws, and Community Care Licensing requirements will be followed at all times. Abides by and enforces all personnel requirements and procedures. Manages strategic actions and related progress as designated in the current strategic plan with regular reporting to the Executive Director and directly to the Board of Directors. Devises strategies to ensure that programs are responsive to projected growth of demand for services. Identifies and implements process improvements that maximize output and manage costs.
1. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Social Services, Healthcare/Nursing Administration and/or related degree from an accredited college or university and three years related work experience.
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Sociology or a related field from a four-year college or university with five years related work experience.
1. Knowledge of standard operating policies and procedures in nonprofit management. Experience working with the elderly and Alzheimer’s disease and/or a related disorder is highly desirable.

3. Computer literacy and Familiar with Word, Excel, donor perfect, e-mail- Outlook, and power point programs, and other social media.
4. Excellent writing and communication skills and good with numbers and budgets.
5. Experience with Community Care Licensing and HR desirable
6. Be able to use diplomacy, discretion, and strong client-facing and team work skills.
Possession of a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and/or related degree from an accredited college or university and three-years work experience. Or, Nursing/Health care background experience, and Non profit management, and knowledge of Title 22 regulations and community care licensing is desirable.
BA in Business Administration or related degree with five years related work experience. Knowledge of standard operating policies and procedures and community care licensing, including non profit management experience is desirable. Experience working with the elderly and Alzheimer’s disease and/or a related disorder is highly desirable.
Fingerprint clearance, CPR/First Aid required; proof of California automobile insurance.

Program Specialist On-Call

We are searching for kind, fun, enthusiastic, talented activities and program specialists to work with our adult day program participants in our center in Montecito serving those with dementia and developmental disabilities.
Program Specialists assist in developing, planning, and leading fun program activities for our members. They perform a variety of functions related to the overall operation of our centers including assisting with activities like musical entertainment and sing-alongs, outings, food service, and special events. Assistance with personal care including bathrooming, companionship, and some maintenance and cleaning are also required.
Ideal program specialists are compassionate individuals who enjoy working with older adults, have positive and effective communication skills, work well with other staff, members, volunteers, and families, have a can-do attitude, and pitch in to do whatever is needed.
Note: During our hybrid program, activities may be conducted in-person with our members or virtually over Zoom. On-call Program Specialists are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, be able to wear a mask, and practice hand-washing, sanitization, and social distancing. Must be proficient in Zoom program and able to provide tech support to caregivers when needed.
Requirements include First Aid and CPR certification, physical exam and TB clearance, a clean driving record, valid driver’s license and insurance, and fingerprint clearance. Experience caring for elders or those with disabilities preferred.
This position includes work in-person at our Montecito Center with on-call hours varying between 8am and 5pm Monday-Friday, no nights and no weekends!
Salary range: DOE.
