Support Group for Caregivers The Friendship Center Family and Caregiver Education and Support Group meets on the first and third Wednesday of the month in the morning from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. The Alzheimer's Association, 1528 Chapala St., 2nd Floor also meets on the 3rd Monday from 5:45 - 7:00 pm. For additional information on Alzheimer's Disease visit the Alzheimer's Association website. All family members and caregivers of a dependent elder are invited. Discussion, sharing, support, tears and laughter are welcome. As always, you are invited to join in the discussion or just listen. This group is designed for spouses, adult children, relatives, caregivers, friends, or anyone interested in caring for the elderly. Topics vary from month to month. This support group is dedicated to helping you care for an elderly person with physical or cognitive impairments and helping you take care of yourself at the same time.
