Community Connect Adult Program: Launching October 12th!

On Monday, October 12th, Friendship Center will be launching our first ever virtual membership program, the Community Connect Adult Program (CCAP).
About the Community Connect Adult Program (CCAP):
The Community Connect Adult Program is a virtual program that has been carefully crafted by the Friendship Center team since on-site programs were suspending in March 2020. Two seasons and seven-hundred plus hours of virtual engagement later, we have redesigned our services with a person-centered approach to meet the wants, needs, limitations and opportunities of today's 'new normal'.
The Community Connect Adult Program is available at three different tiers.
Tier 1: Individual Level for one member + caregiver(s) ($200.00/ month, with options for low-income)
Tier 2: Corporate Level for adult day programs or congregate living facilities with more than six-beds ($600.00/ month)
Tier 3. Corporate Level for congregate living facilities with up to six beds ($400.00/month)
Membership with the Community Connect Adult Program includes the following resources:
-Live & Interactive Zoom Classes
-Activity Video Library: prerecorded classes and activities led by FC staff
-Activity Supply Library: Printable art pages, word games (English/ Spanish), bingo cards etc.
-Drive-In Activity Sessions
-Care Consultations & Memory Screening: 2x 30min consultations per month, memory screenings offered as needed
-Weekly Phone check-ins/ tele programs
-1 on 1 porch visits (southern SB county only)
-Supply coordination for activities
-Tech support
-Take Care Tote (for individual level, only)
-Caregiver Hotline
-Monthly team trainings (for corporate levels)
Signing up for the Community Connect Adult Program will be available as of Monday, October 12th. We are offering a one week 'grace period' of services at no cost through Friday, October 16th. Starting Monday, October 19th, you must be enrolled in the CCAP in order to participate in our activities or receive services. You can sign up through our streamlined portal, available on the home page of our website, at any time and will be granted immediate access to our program.

With this new program, the Friendship Center team is focused on doing what we do best: fostering a community of close knit senior friends who feel heard, respected, and loved. No one, despite physical, cognitive or financial ability will fall through the cracks or go with their needs in our program unmet.
