Brief info

Does not like birds yet is always talking about birds....

Kathryn has been with Friendship Center as the Program Manager since 2017. She has her Master of Arts Degree in Sustainable Development and International Health from the University of St Andrews, Scotland and her Master of International Public Health Degree from the University of Sydney, Australia. Originally from Pasadena, Kathryn returned to California after living overseas for six years to be closer to her family and Trader Joe’s.

She has always loved being with seniors, especially after living with her grandfather, who had Alzheimer’s, for 13 years. Kathryn is passionate about making sure no one falls through the cracks in her care. Every person who come to the center is treated with utmost dignity, respect and compassion.

When not at FC, Kathryn enjoys socializing with her friends and watching awful reality TV shows with her boyfriend, Dave, and their pets, Ana and Louis.
