Getting started at Friendship Center

Come Meet Us

Enrolling at Friendship Center is easy—after a conversation by phone, our family services staff can arrange first for a tour (either with or without the prospective member), and then a FREE trial visit. This is a chance for the prospective member to spend part of the day at Friendship Center to try it out, and for our staff to determine how our programs can best meet the member’s individual needs.

We offer a variety of programs and activities designed to address the diverse needs of our members.

From brain fitness and healthy aging programs to our highly specialized day care activities, we strive to accommodate your loved one’s unique needs for care and support.

We will assist with any documentation necessary for enrollment and help you work out a schedule of attendance that fits your family’s needs.

Program Fees

We are committed to providing affordable care. Our Family Services staff works with each family to agree upon a daily fee, based on income level.

No one will be turned away for inability to pay.

Transportation Options

Transportation to our centers can be arranged with Easy Lift online at EasyLift.org or by phone at (805) 681-1181. Carpinteria residents can also utilize HELP of Carpinteria http://www.helpofcarpinteria.org/ by calling (805) 684-0065. Veterans

Friendship Center’s contract with the Veterans Administration allows eligible veterans to attend our day program up to 5 days per week, free of charge. Please contact us for more information and assistance with VA applications.
